A Historic Kildare Castle Wedding

Spring weddings at a historic castle are truly something special! When Lauren and Ryan came to us to design the florals for their May wedding at the incredible Barberstown Castle in Co. Kildare, we were instantly in love with their vision. They wanted to soften the rugged, historic stone walls of the castle with a delicate and romantic “Soft Pastel” theme. At Flowers Touch, we provided the complete floral styling package to ensure their venue looked like an absolute fairy tale.

Delicate Pastel Bridal Party Florals

To bring the soft pastel theme to life, we designed a breathtaking, lush bridal bouquet for Lauren featuring creamy white roses, soft delicate textures, and beautiful touches of pale blue to tie in her bridal party. The bridesmaids looked absolutely spectacular in their dusty blue dresses, which provided the perfect backdrop for their bespoke pastel bouquets! We also designed matching buttonholes for Ryan and his groomsmen to ensure the entire bridal party looked perfectly cohesive.

Bespoke Venue Styling & Tall Candelabras

Barberstown Castle has incredible architectural features, and our venue styling was designed to highlight them! In the ceremony space, we decorated the historic stone fireplace with a stunning, lush floral garland, and dressed the guest chairs with elegant chiffon drapes and delicate foliage sprigs.

For the reception, we created a truly regal atmosphere. We styled their beautiful mirror seating plan with trailing eucalyptus and white roses. Inside the dining room, the tables were adorned with magnificent tall gold candelabras overflowing with fresh pastel blooms and trailing ivy. To complete the look, we styled the base of their elegant vintage-piped wedding cake with a ring of fresh eucalyptus and white roses.
