Romantic Winter Garden & Castle Elegance at Luttrellstown Castle, Dublin

Winter at a historic estate like Luttrellstown Castle in Castleknock, Co. Dublin, offers a spectacular, cozy setting for a classic wedding. When Tania reached out to us to design her winter florals, she envisioned a “Romantic Winter Garden & Castle Elegance” theme. At Flowers Touch, we provided the complete floral styling package to ensure their venue looked like an absolute dream, combining a crisp palette of clean whites, soft creams, dusty blue-gray thistles, and deep midnight berries

Lush, Textured Winter Garden Bridal Party Florals

To bring this refined theme to life, we designed a breathtaking, textured bridal bouquet for Tania with a beautiful, organic silhouette. It featured lush white hydrangeas, delicate white lisianthus, and striking blue thistles (eryngium) to introduce a subtle, wintry element. Framed with trailing sprigs of silver dollar and seeded eucalyptus for a soft, silvery drape, the bouquet was finished with a classic ivory ribbon wrap.

Tania’s bridesmaids carried smaller, cohesive bouquets that complemented their look beautifully, creating a gorgeous frame for the bridal party. To ensure the whole bridal party had a cohesive style, we also designed matching buttonholes for the groom and groomsmen featuring mini white rosebuds, baby’s breath, and sprigs of eucalyptus.

Cozy Castle Ceremony Styling & Refined Table Decor

The historic ceremony and reception spaces at Luttrellstown Castle were styled to feel warm, intimate, and inviting. Along the ceremony aisle, we dressed guest seating with delicate floral posies. Each chiavari chair was adorned with deep green foliage, eucalyptus leaves, baby’s breath, and a single pale yellow rosebud, all finished with a flowing cream ribbon.

For the register signing table, we designed a low, elongated floral runner featuring ivory hydrangeas, white lisianthus, and soft yellow rose accents, nestled among rich, layered greenery. To complete the look, the table arrangement was styled with three traditional cream taper candles, casting a warm and romantic glow against the castle’s historic diamond-pane windows.

Sophisticated Reception & Cake Florals

The natural winter garden elements carried through to the reception room. To dress the wedding cake, we styled the base and upper tiers of the four-tier buttercream cake with fresh white lisianthus, delicate eucalyptus leaves, and a scattering of fresh blueberries and blackberries. This organic touch tied in beautifully with the gold-leaf detailing and the soft green watercolor wash on the bottom tier of the cake, creating a truly refined atmosphere.
